Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3)

Adobe CS3 was announced on March 27, 2007. The first products began shipping on April 16 2007, with Production Premium and Master Collection editions shipping from July 2, 2007. It was eventually replaced by CS4 in October 2008.

Notable Updates:

• Incorporation of products from the Macromedia range (acquired in 2005), including Dreamweaver, Flash and Fireworks.
• Universal binaries for the Apple Macintosh. This saw a welcome return to the Mac for Adobe Premiere.
• Closer integration between applications, with similar interfaces.
• Various feature updates for individual programs (mostly minor).
