Adobe Encore

Adobe Encore is a software application for creating DVDs. You can import footage, create timelines and menus, add audio, and output to standard DVD, Blu-ray disc or Flash SWF (for the web).

As of July 2007, Adobe Encore is no longer available as a standalone product. It is instead provided with Adobe Premiere Pro and various CS software bundles.

The basic workflow for a typical Encore project goes like this:

1. Import assets (video footage, audio, images)
2. Create one or more timelines with navigation markers (scenes)
3. Create one or more menus with buttons pointing to timeline markers
4. Test and export the project to disc or hard drive
