Importing Files in Adobe Soundbooth
There are several ways to import files into Soundbooth.
The most obvious method is to use the File menu. Select File > Open to open the standard browse/open window. Select File > Open Recent to choose from a list of recent files.
A quicker method is to double-click inside the Files panel. This opens the same window as File > Open.
The last method is to use Adobe Bridge to browse for files. You can open Bridge directly by selecting File > Browse.
Using Bridge makes it easier to browse and preview files. As well as showing you lots of information about each file, it lets you listen to them with a single click. The disadvantage is that Bridge can take a while to load, so it's not the best option if you know where your file is and you just want to open it quickly.
Notes:
- You can import Soundbooth score templates from the AutoCompose Score panel.
- Files can be exported from other applications (e.g. Premiere Pro) directly into Soundbooth.
