The 32-inch Sony KD32XS945 flat screen CRT TV features a Hi-Scan 1080i high-definition display, built-in analog (NTSC) and HDTV digital (ATSC) tuners. (Digital high-definition programming is available via terrestrial signals (over-the-air) or unscrambled cable signals provided by your cable company.) It's also Digital Cable Ready, so you can enjoy digital cable without an additional box or remote. The FD Trinitron WEGA flat screen delivers incredible image accuracy, wide viewing angles, outstanding contrast, and corner-to-corner detail while minimizing glare from light sources to enhance contrast.

The CineMotion technology feature uses reverse 3-2 pull down technology, providing smoother picture movement when playing back movies or other video sources on film. The HD Detailer Wide Band Video Amplifier has a high bandwidth frequency rating, which allows it to send more video information to the screen, resulting in finer picture quality, especially for HD sources.

The Clear Edge VM Wideband Velocity Modulation feature allows you to select levels to create better separation between an object and its background for clearer edges, greater picture depth and improved overall picture quality. The Steady Sound Automatic Volume Control--with BBE and thre-dimensional SRS Audio Effect--produces a dynamic three-dimensional sound for stereo programs. The Wide Screen Mode enables you to watch digital 16:9 (widedscreen) aspect ratio broadcasts in their original format, or zoom to fill the 4:3 aspect ratio screen. You can even show off your digital photos onscreen with its built-in Enhanced Memory Stick Media slot.

Other features include parental controls (V-chip), front panel controls, front AV Inputs for connecting camcorders or video game consoles, and a Favorite Channels list.
