Introduction to Microsoft Word
Microsoft Word is a WYSIWYG editor. What You See Is What You Get, which means that the way your document looks on the computer screen as you type it is how it will look when you print it or send it to someone else.
You may have used word processors in the past that had all sorts of special keystrokes that you used to bold, indent, center, or highlight portions of your document. They were efficient once you learned the codes, but you were never quite sure how your document would look when it was printed.
With MS Word, you know exactly how it will look when it is printed.
