Windows Media WMVHD Files

WMVHD stands for Windows Media Video High-Definition. WMVHD files are like other Windows Media files except they have a higher resolution, leading to clearer, sharper pictures. WMVHD files are useful for high-definition monitors, where normal "standard definition" video can't fill the screen without a reduction in quality.

High-definition WMVHD files currently come in two resolutions: 1080p and 720p.
